Is it really the creator I follow?+
Yes — the voice and teaching are theirs. The clone is built from voice samples and writing the creator personally provides, with explicit signed consent. Each message is labeled as AI so you always know what is the clone and what is the real human.
How does the creator give consent?+
Every creator on Phoeline goes through identity verification (Stripe Identity) and records a video consent statement on file. We retain the recording and a signed agreement for the lifetime of the clone. Creators can pause or end the clone at any time.
What if the AI says something off-brand or harmful?+
Every fan message and every clone response is screened by moderation before delivery. Creators approve the template and a random sample of outputs each week. Crisis-language is detected and routed to real human resources, not the clone.
How is this different from Character.AI or Replika?+
Character.AI characters are fictional and the creators receive no payment. Replika is a generic companion with no human behind it. Phoeline is a marketplace where the human you already follow gets 70% of the revenue and stays in control of how the clone speaks.
Can I cancel? Will I lose my history?+
Cancel in one tap from the app — no email gauntlet, no retention call. Your ritual history is exportable on request and deleted on account closure per the privacy policy.
How much of my $19.99 goes to the creator?+
After Apple or Google take their platform cut (15–30%), the creator receives 70% of the remaining net and Phoeline keeps 30% to run the platform, the AI infrastructure, and moderation.
Is my data private?+
Your messages with the clone are stored encrypted and used only to personalize your ritual. We never sell data. AI subprocessors (ElevenLabs, OpenAI) process content under their enterprise agreements with zero-retention settings where available. Full details in the privacy policy.
